1977. The year Elvis and Charlie Chaplin die and the personal computer is born. The year of Close Encounters Of The Third Kind and Centre Pompidou. But most of all, a great year in musical history! With punk in it’s puberty, disco dementing and the rise of electronic instruments the year was a magical period in which some of the most interesting pop albums in history were made.

“1977” Is the growing result of a one day collaboration between Tour and one other musician, in which they record one song from a 1977 pop album. Each song is released together with a poster on this website.
