Hasselt University and Wander: a collaboration that has worked for decades

Hasselt University has been one of Wander's founding partners since the early years. From the start, in the late eighties, we actively helped shape the software and vision behind the network. Our collaboration started in 1989 — the first contract dates from that year and has already been renewed eight times. That says a lot, if not everything, about the trust and satisfaction we experience in this partnership.

For Hasselt University, the collaboration offers two major advantages. On the one hand, we outsource technical responsibility, so we don't have to manage servers ourselves and make significant savings on hardware and software maintenance. On the other hand, we benefit from the efficiency of the network: shared cataloging, integration into WorldCat and UniCat, and connection to international library standards.

The service provided by the Wander team is of a high level: competent, accessible and always helpful colleagues who know their product inside out and provide quick support.
